Nitamen (Hebrew: אמן ונתאמן, "the app") is a nutrition and workout tracker that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains what the app stores, where, and what your rights are. It is our notice under section 11 of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and under any other privacy law that applies to you.

1. Who is responsible

The app is built by Oz Yahav, Israel, under the AbraCodeAbra studio.

Your data never reaches us, so in practice we hold no database about you.

2. What the app stores

  • Daily log: day type, meal items you tick, free calories, sets, weights and reps.
  • Measurements: weigh-ins, body-fat percentage and circumferences.
  • Progress photos you take or import.
  • Your plan: meals, workouts and goals you set up, or load from a file you choose.
  • Settings: notification times, goals and preferences.

Some of this, such as weight, body fat and body photos, is sensitive data. That's one more reason it never leaves your device.

3. Where your data is stored

  • On your device only: all data is stored on your device, in the app's container and in the App Group shared with its widgets.
  • No server: nothing is sent to our server or to any third party. The app has no accounts, ads, analytics or third-party SDKs.
  • Backups: if iCloud Backup or computer backup is turned on, the app's data is included in your device backup, as with any other app. Apple manages that backup under your settings, and we have no access to it.

4. Permissions, and why they're needed

Every permission is optional. You can say no, and the app will keep working without the related feature.

  • Camera and Photo Library: to take or import your weekly progress photo. Photos are stored only inside the app.
  • Motion sensors: for the level indicator shown while you take a photo.
  • Face ID: an optional lock for your progress photos. iOS does the recognition, and the app never receives any biometric data.
  • Notifications: reminders scheduled on your device.
  • Background audio: countdown beeps at the end of a rest between sets, even when the screen is locked. You can turn them off in Settings.

5. Do you have to provide any data?

No. Everything you enter stays with you and never reaches us. You decide what to log. A feature with no data simply won't show any results.

6. Who receives your data

No one. We never receive your data, so we don't share, sell or transfer it. If you choose to share a photo or a number from your device yourself, that sharing is yours to control.

7. Deleting your data

  • Everything: deleting the app deletes all its data from your device.
  • Individual items: you can delete single weigh-ins, measurements and photos inside the app.
  • Backups: data saved in your device backups (iCloud or computer) is removed according to your backup settings.

There's no need to ask us to delete anything, because we don't have it.

8. Your rights

Your rights of access, correction and deletion, under sections 13–14 of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law and under the GDPR or similar laws, work directly in the app. All your data is visible to you, and you can edit or delete it. Questions? Write to privacy@abracodeabra.org.

9. Children

The app isn't directed at children and doesn't collect data about anyone. Nutrition and training goals for teenagers should be set with an adult and a professional.

10. Security

  • Encryption: data is stored on your device and protected by iOS's built-in encryption, tied to your device passcode.
  • Extra lock: you can lock your progress photos with Face ID.

11. Do Not Track

The app doesn't track you in any way, so a Do Not Track signal doesn't change how it behaves.

12. Changes to this policy

  • Every version is published at this address with its effective date, and previous versions are kept in the archive.
  • Material changes, such as adding a server or an outside service, will be shown in the app before they take effect.
